These beautiful pillowcases are handwoven on a traditional loom. The woven fabric is called “tibib.” A tibib is a brightly colored border found at the hem of folk dresses and shawls in Ethiopia. With its ethnic artistry, these charming pillows are ideal for any room, living room, bedroom, or guest suite.
Two types of fabrics are used to make the cushion cover. The front side made of tibib and the back is linen. It is an “envelope pillowcase,” the padding slips in from the back. The pillowcase comes with an insertable cushion. The price is for one pillow only.

Welcome to koolDecor, your number one source for traditional Ethiopian home decorations and fashion accessories.
Mekdes Hagos, the founder and owner of koolDecor, began her professional life in the interior architecture field and worked for many years in the business. On a trip to Ethiopia in 2007, she met a textile weaver who introduced her to the woven fabrics of the country. Mekdes fell in love with the materials and wanted to incorporate the designs in the creation of something new. A few years later, through a partnership with Ethiopian textile weavers, koolDecor was established. Since then, Mekdes has collaborated with a wide range of artisans.
